About

security culture is neon vegan fetishwear, designed and built in the bay area, ca, by keyana.

MADE WITH NYLON

my goal is create vegan fetishwear that celebrates its own form — not something pretending to be leather, but its own vision entirely.

in 2017 or 2018 i was living in a vegan co-op in berkeley, ca (don't ask) and reflecting a lot on the Leather community in the bay.* i'm not personally a huge fan of synthetic leather — fine if it's your thing, but i have a lot of questions about the value of a petroleum product made to imitate an animal product, but with none of the benefits of biodegradeability and durability. not satisfied with the quality of the nylon harnesses i could find for sale online, i uttered a future queer small business owner's famous last words and declared, "fine, i'll just make it myself then."

four years, two moves, one heartbreak, and countless hours of experimentation later, security culture is here for you.

WHAT IS SECURITY CULTURE?

it's what keeps you grounded. it's what holds you down. it's protection, it's forethought, it's communication, it's opsec. it's whatever you want it to be, and whatever you need it to be.

100% VEGAN

our harnesses, collars, cuffs, and straps use nylon webbing and metal or plastic hardware. your items will last for many years with proper care and use.

SIZE INCLUSIVE

all security culture items are built with sliders, allowing for any increment of adjustment you may need. custom sizing is always available, for any design. just select the "custom" option and i'll get in touch with you for measurements and details. custom sizing and color orders require an additional 3-6 weeks of processing time, depending on current inventory. there is no additional charge for custom sizing.

SAFETY NOTE

it's important to be safe while engaging in bdsm and other power exchange activities! security culture harnesses are not designed for suspension and should not be used as suspension devices.

if you ever need to cut through your harness or collar to end a scene safely, i will replace or repair your item at no additional cost.
